Being a sucker for unusual culinary plants I jumped at the opportunity to obtain a pandan, This one needs some warmth through the winter so is grown as a houseplant. I haven't yet tried to harvest any of the leaves but apparently they should be used wilted to impart a subtle flavour normally used with rice or chicken.
